“Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.”

The energies of the full-moon in January were so powerful this year. I had some pretty deep thoughts come up to the surface, something about the meaning of Life & our purpose. Some people from my close circle were also struggling with the same question of self-worth of those who are higly-sensitive beings living here on Earth.

At that time my sub-conscious mind had revealed to me that it was time to heal and re-write my birth trauma, so that the strength and potential that we come into this world with , can be re-stored as much as possible. We all know that, often, our birth process can be a painfull and traumatic experience not only for the mother, but for the child as well.

For my re-birth treatment, i will be using Reiki energy. I was initiated into Reiki healing art last year and it’s been a great help at reducing aches, fighting colds or emotional instability for my child, parents, friends and sisters.

During the healing session i had a vision: here i am, in my mother’s womb. It’s hard to breath, as it’s getting tighter and narrower in here. Contractions forces are pushing me out, and it feels as if i’m going down a water slide! It’s worth to note that at this moment I am not afraid – i am in complete agreeement with these forces and i just want to go ahead with this process.

Next, i feel a breeze of cold air, something is pressing on my chest and…darkness falls upon me. This is The Trauma, that is what was talking about earlier. (If you recall your feelings during a hard time of your life, perhaps, you’ll remember this feeling of emptiness and darkness, that we sink into when scared or depressed).

Here I start my healing session: i start sending REIKI ENERGY right into this feeling of darkness – after a few minutes, gradually, i can feel my feet and hands, now i can hear some distant voices. My mom’s emotions make my stomack ache: “It’s a girl…”- she’s admitting bitterly to herself. Now something aches in my heart, and i sence that it’s her feelings towards my dad, some fears and self-judgement.

I, however, keep sending Reiki energy – cleansing my feet, head, chakras and hands – i am basically conducting a full Reiki-session for myself in the past, at the moment of my birth.

I keep sending Reiki until i can see the whole situation healing & changing: the room has lighten up, the sun-light is brightly shining, amd my mother now is breastfeeding me , happily smiling (in reality babies were taken away right after the birth and brought to mother every 3 hours ,for feeding purposes only). I can see myself feeling so good about my presence in the world – i feel loved now, and the world looks quite hospitable, and i know that i CAN get what is vitally needed for me!

This is the story of my re-birth experience, thank God for Reiki and this wonderful time we live in when healings are possible. Because this healing restores your natural potential and abilities, I’ve noticed that for me, its become easier to communicate with others , and i can express my feelings and needs to my loved ones without guilt, instead of the pleasing strategy out of fear to be unwanted.

In my opinion, it is very important to be able to Receive, so you can Give with joy. For light-workers, those who have a mission to serve the world, and everyone else, of course, putting your needs first is a vital skill.
